Privacy policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Madrous website, madrous.com, and to data we receive through the study request form, by email and while preparing a study.

2. Data we collect

When you send a study request: your name, mobile number, email, preferred contact method, and the project information you enter: sector, city, site, approximate capital, purpose, timing and any details you add.

While preparing the study: project data you send us, such as rent, salaries, supplier quotes and field measurements.

Technical data: each request is stored with a hashed fingerprint of your internet address (not the address itself) and your country, to prevent abuse and apply request limits.

Payment data: payments go through a licensed payment provider that processes your card details directly. Card numbers never reach us and we do not store them; we receive only proof of payment: the amount, date and status.

Aggregate statistics: Cloudflare may record aggregate visit statistics that do not identify you and store nothing on your device.

3. Cookies and measurement tools

The site uses no advertising cookies. Your browser stores only your choice in the cookie bar.

Only with your consent do we run two tools: Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, to measure visits, their sources and request submissions; and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how pages are used through heatmaps and session recordings in which anything you type into fields is masked. Both may place cookies on your device. You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the request form from automated messages.

4. Why we use your data

• To contact you about your request and prepare a quote.
• To prepare your study based on your project information.
• To protect the site and the form from abuse.
• To improve the site using aggregate usage data.
• To meet legal obligations such as invoicing and zakat requirements.

5. Where it is stored and how it is protected

Study requests are stored in a database on the Cloudflare platform, and notifications reach our team by email and through an automation server we operate. Connections to the site are encrypted, and access to the data is limited to those who need it to handle your request.

6. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only as far as needed with:

• Hosting, email and security providers we rely on to run the service (Cloudflare and our email provider).
• Our licensed payment provider, as far as needed to complete a payment or refund.
• Google, as the measurement tool provider, within what you have consented to.
• Competent government authorities where required by law.

7. Confidentiality of your project

Your project information is confidential. We use it only to prepare your study, we never publish it, and we never use it in another study. You can ask for a non-disclosure agreement before sharing details.

8. Retention

We keep data for as long as its purpose and post-delivery support require, and for the periods set by accounting and tax regulations. After that we delete it or make it no longer linked to you.

9. Your rights

Under the law you may ask to:

• Access your data and receive a copy of it.
• Correct or update your data.
• Have your data destroyed when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent to measurement tools at any time.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the service or the law changes, and we show the date of the last update at the top of the page.
