How we work

One method for every study: sourced figures, one financial model, and a decision that follows the numbers.

About

Madrous is a feasibility study specialist that works for the decision-maker, not for the project.

We prepare feasibility studies for projects in Saudi Arabia at the request of their owners: an investor making a decision, a business owner expanding, or a founder preparing for a lender. Each study is built from scratch for one project, in its city, with its capital and with market prices at the time of work.

Our job is not to prove that your project is profitable. It is to let you know before you invest whether it is worth it, on what terms and at what risk. And if it is not feasible as it stands, we show you the form in which it would be, if one exists.

  • AccuracyEvery price, rent and fee sits beside its source and the date we checked it, and every assumption is labelled as one.
  • DepthA single financial model feeds all seven files, plus an interactive dashboard where you change the numbers yourself.
  • IntegrityWe do not promise profit or financing approval, and the study says “no” when the numbers do.

What is a feasibility study

A feasibility study answers one question before you invest: is the project worth it?

A feasibility study is a structured analysis of a project idea before it is carried out: is there enough demand, what will set-up and operations cost, when will it cover its costs, and what risks could make it fail. At Madrous we prepare your project’s feasibility study across four areas:

  • Market studyDemand, the target segment, and the competitors around your site with their actual prices.
  • Technical and operational studySite and space, equipment at supplier prices, staffing, salaries and daily operations.
  • Regulatory studyThe licences, requirements and authorities relevant to your activity, in the order to obtain them.
  • Financial studySet-up costs, five years of estimated financial statements, break-even, payback period and scenarios.

When do you need a feasibility study?

  • Before you sign a lease or buy equipment.
  • When applying to a financing body or support programme.
  • When presenting the project to a partner or investor.
  • Before expanding with a new branch or activity.

The verdict

Three questions before you sign, and a five-step verdict.

We do not write “feasible” because a client wants to hear it. The verdict comes from the margin of safety: how far demand can fall before the project starts losing money.

  1. What will the project cost?Set-up and running costs line by line, using supplier prices and market rents.
  2. When does it cover its costs? The break-even point in customers or orders a day, and how many months until you recover your capital.
  3. What could make it fail? The biggest risks, and what to verify on the ground before you sign a lease.
  1. Do not invest yetExpected demand does not cover costs.
  2. RedesignThe margin is thin; we propose a smaller format or another site.
  3. Pilot firstStart with a small trial before the full investment.
  4. Feasible with conditionsFeasible if conditions written in the study are met.
  5. FeasibleA wide margin of safety on documented figures.

How we work

How we prepare your feasibility study, step by step.

We do not start before the scope and the price are agreed in writing, and we never ask for information we do not need.

  1. 1Send your request

Fill in the request form in minutes: the project idea, its city, the capital available and what the study is for.

  2. 2We review and call

We review your request and contact you the way you prefer, to understand the project and set the scope.

  3. 3Written quote

You receive a quote with price, scope and timing. Work starts once you accept and pay.

  4. 4Your project data

We send you an exact list of what we need: site and rent, salaries, supplier quotes if any, and what to measure on the ground and how.

  5. 5Work and delivery

We research, build the model and write the files. You receive the full package within 7 to 14 days of your data being complete.

What you receive

What a feasibility study includes: seven files, from the decision to opening day.

Every file is built for your activity from a single financial model, so no figure differs between files. They are ordered the way you will need them.
